Capo, I know you're right on both the positive trends for the future and the inevitability of human nature. Still, I'm both optimistic and impatient. Having a interest in history though, I'm always a little concerned when I think of all those past great civilizations that became overgrown with complacency and how things don't necessarily continue forward.

So, I think it bears a comment, when the situation arises.

I can't imagine who people think are being converted. Just because the subject has now reached a level of awareness, certainly doesn't mean the number of people who prefer same sex relationships have or could increase. How could it?? If a person believes that someone could "cross over", surely there must be some personal insight into why they believe that's possible. Personally, I can't imagine the prospect.

I stand by my earlier posting. Glad to see so many of you with your "knickers in a knot". Then again, for you fag-lovers, you're used to having something up your butt.
C/R suck. And "married couple"? Give me a break! Two men can not and should never be able to be married. Makes me sick.

Clifton, Capo, Lyb: Right on!

Fodors, why are you letting this Cheska horror post his/her ignorant and obscene prejudice?

Clifton Aug 23rd, 2003 07:56 PM

Cheska,

I'm glad that you stand by your post. Speaking your thoughts so eloquently will make the line between us quite clear, and assist others in better understanding what mindset lives on your side of that line.

Carry on and enjoy. :)

To everyone:

Since some people obviously have some "issues", I personally suggest we just ignore them...why waste time on such creatures?!?!?

On to the real subject:

My best friend and I have always wanted to apply for Amazing Race, we have one lttle problem, neither one of us swim!!! In the first episodes, I think you could have gotten away without swim, but have you all noticed how there's more and more swimming involved? Maybe it's because I can't swim that I notice those things.
