Dang. I keep trying to pack lighter. Yet my suitcase feels like lead. Maybe I'm getting older.

4 nights in France. 11 nights in Greece. It's been a long time coming.

I have my passport, my euros from this spring, my credit card and spare, my money belt and my pocket flask of whiskey.

I think I'm all set.

I'll file a report when I return.

David - Have fun in Greece! I'm sure your flask will be full of ouzo when you fly home. Are you going to Delphi?

Hi Lara!

Yep. I'll be in Delphi for 2 nights with a rental car at that. I managed a lot of public transportation but broke down and got the car for Delphi.

4 nights Athens, 2 nights Santorini, 2 nights Diakofto, 2 in Delphi then an open night in Athens or somewhere else on the peninsula.

weather.com says it's going to be perfect!

I don't think you will need your car while you are in Delphi as it's very small and I don't remember much parking. The roads from Athens to Delphi were very zig-zaggy at times. I don't remember the hotel I stayed in but you could see the beautiful blue water and snowcapped mountains from my balcony. Keep track of the number of trash cans in the rooms!
