The 18th first time

Hello and thanks to everyone for all the tips.
We are going back to Paris this May( our 9th trip).
In the past we have rented apartments in the 1 st,7th and 11 th.
We are trying the 18 th this time.
We can easily hop on a bus or metro.

Can anyone tell me about restaurants in the area?
Thanks

www.viamichelin.com has restaurant listings for the town or neighborhood specified.

The 18th is a large and varied arrondissement. What is your closest metro station?

What kerouac said. Try to narrow it down for us a little more.

Paris by Mouth has a good search function by arrondissement. But again, the 18th is a large area.

Each time I've seen this post's title, I've thought that you are saying that each trip feels like a first, as in, you are taking your 18th trip with confidence that it will still feel like a 1st time. Maybe I'm just weird, but you might want to repost with a title that makes it clear that you are asking for info about Paris's 18th arrondissement.

Porte de Clignancourt will give you a taste of working class Paris, but metro line 4 is extremely efficient, as I'm sure you already know. As of next week, it will be important to know that the direction for the south end will no longer be "Porte d'Orléans" but "<b>Montrouge</b>" when a new terminus opens.

I was going to recommend a restaurant fairly close by, but after googling, just learned that it closed. ;-(

I'll think about it some more. We usually cook dinner in our apartment and have lunch out wherever we are that day, which may or may not be Montmartre, so I actually don't have tons of dining experience in the area - plus I'm totally blanking at the moment.

Well, at Porte de Clignancourt itself, there is a KFC and a Mcdonald's in case of emergency. ;-)
