Hi all,

Sorry for the delay and lack of a written report (I may get around to it) but here are some pictures. Overall it was an amazing trip and one we want to repeat... soon :-)

What a terrific apartment and thanks for the ride up the Tour - I've never take the ride up. Thanksgiving meal looked tasty too!

Nice tour with you through Paris. The apartment looked lovely--would you share the link to it?
Thanks

Loved your video. The music added so much to the enjoyment of it. Can you tell us what the music is?

TPAYT,

Look just below the video... there is a link to the music
group and even a link to download using iTunes...

Thanks so much for the compliments! The apartment was amazing and we would go back or to any of their apartments:

The music is form a Putumayo Acoustic France CD (or off iTunes as someone mentioned)

BTW, loved the Smart Car photos. We've owned one for 3 years now in Wisconsin and we love it. Even with the ice and snow in Wisconsin, it goes great.

Couldn't find a link on the youtube video to the music----please post link if you can.

Great video. How old are your kids and had they been to Europe before? Asking because I'm wondering how easy it was going out to dinner with them, what types of restaurants, other than Robert et Louise Thanksgiving Day, the kids could enjoy, etc. And do you think your apartment would work for four adults (couples) and one child?

Sorry to bombard you with questions! It's just your video really piqued my interest and now I'm thinking of details...

Great job!

LOVE the video. You did a beautiful job with it. Gives me my Paris fix for today.
I can imagine the kids showing that video to their spouses years from now as a way of showing them why they must return to Paris.

If you would be so kind as to share with us, MDH would like to know what program you used to put that video together, with the fade ins and outs and music. We have had some success with our photos, but yours was far superior.

Leely:
Well... considering my wife is a food writer our kids (9 and 14) are not adventurous eaters. Which worked out ok since we cooked a few dinners for them at the apartment and we big kids went out for a late dinner. We did have a few meals out together at brasseries and they had steak and fries. This was their second trip to Europe (Ireland was the first). The apartment would be ideal for 2 couples and one child. The couple with the child could take the upstairs and the other couple down in the "basement".

TPAYT:
I use Pro Show Gold by Photodex for the slideshow. Great program.
