Two years ago I went to Thanksgiving with friends in Paris for Thanksgiving. I loved the food. Since I'm originally from southern Oklahoma, it wasn't all that far away from what I consdider traditional. I understand that people from different regions of the U.S. have different traditions, but y'all, if there isn't cornbread stuffing in that bird, it just isn't Thanksgiving where I come from!

Bonne fête!

It's interesting how threads take on a life of their own. The OP graciously invited people to join in a Thanksgiving dinner at a specific restaurant. The responses suggest everything from not having turkey, to choosing a different location, to staying home entirely.

Hey alexispate? Thanks for the invitation. What time are you going to be at Joe Allen's? I'm not sure if I can talk my companions into a Thanksgiving dinner and I'm not sure what time we would be able to stop by, but we will be in the general area to visit a particular shop and I might want to stick my head in for laughs -- so thanks for the invitation!!
