Thanksgiving In Dublin

I am currently studying abroad at Dublin City University. I will be spending Thanksgiving here in Dublin and was wondering if anyone knew of a restaurant to eat at with great turkey.

Thank you!

Try calling some of the hotel restaurants. I would not be surprised if one or more isn't serving Thanksgiving dinner for their American guests.

We were treated to a very nice and innovative turkey dinner at our hotel in Copenhagen when we were there over Thanksgiving a few years ago---a complete surprise to us.

I presume this isn't the first year that there have been Americans at DCU. If so why not ask your tutors to see what previous generations did

Alan, they might have gone native, and spent the evening in the pub.

Anne, the short answer is I don't know. You have probably figured out that Thanksgiving does not matter much to the Irish. But our Christmas season is extending, and I am sure that some places will soon be doing special Christmas lunch and dinner menus, and these invariably include turkey and ham as an option. Or... why not cook a Thanksgiving dinner and invite your Irish friends?

King Citric at Haugh. If the turkey fails the wine goes on and on. They have a very good american customer base

It took me a few moments, but I decoded it: The King Sitric at Howth. It's a seafood restaurant. Good, but turkey ain't no seafood.
