My butcher rotisseries turkey, and I have never had a problem finding it in any of the arron I've lived.
And... well, I love turkey. Can't be the only one, its fairly easy to buy bags of turkey breast at Picard. The problem is that the French don't brine or stuff their birds, making yhem dry.
I brine, stuff, then give it back to the butcher for his rotisserie and I never have left overs. All my table guests are French, they're not eatting for the nostalgia.

We ended up eating French food at a bistro in the Marais. The duck was very good, and we wished fellow Americans eating there," Happy Thanksgiving." First Sunday home, we had our Thanksgiving turkey!
