Thanksgiving dinner in Amsterdam? I need a date!

Please email me if you are an American woman who will be in AMS 11/24. We can have turkey together! I am not looking for anything but good conversation and a turkey dinner.
Thanks
Eric

Aw, comeon, Eric. This is Amsterdam. Why does it have to be a woman?

SharonM Nov 21st, 2000 07:10 AM

More importantly, where do you propose to find a turkey?
I'm an American woman but unfortunately I won't be in Amsterdam.
Good Luck!

elvira Nov 21st, 2000 07:12 AM

I think the whereabouts of the turkey have already been established.

Patrick Nov 21st, 2000 10:06 AM

Right you are, Elvira, as always!

All hotels in AMS have advertisements in the "sevices" book in the room for various escort agencies.
They will send an American woman to your room, complete with turkey.(me, I prefer chocolate sauce. What's the deal with the turkey?)

OK, so it does sound like a funny question. But are you SOOOO sure that he's either 1. joking or 2. a sleaze?
Would it kill you all to just be a little nice if you're not sure, and to not be so very quick to make fun of people?

Happy TG, Eric. Do as the Dutch do, or as the non-USA touists do, and forget the turkeys, avian and otherwise.

xxx, you complain about another 'non-travel' related thread (oddly, it's posters are all women...hmm) yet support this 'non-travel' post (hmm...posted by a man). What, exactly, are your criteria for an acceptable post and responses?

xxx Nov 22nd, 2000 12:30 PM

There are many xxx's, quite obviously. I never complained about any nontravel post. I like anything that's the least bit interesting. Though I don't care for this post, I don't think it merits the hostility. I just complain about people being unnecessarily nasty and intolerant.

Yours truly,

Ms. xxx

Well Eric, if I were single, and in Amsterdam, and there on the 24th... I would meet with you, Eric(and have TURKEY), however.....

SharonM Nov 22nd, 2000 01:40 PM

yeah, Judy, but are you American?

traveler Nov 22nd, 2000 01:48 PM

Careful girls, if you check Eric's other posts, you'll find that he's still a married man.

Sharon: rather full-blooded, if I may say so.....
