My daughter and I have returned from our trip to London and Edinburgh, and I just wanted to thank everybody who gave us such wonderful support and advice. I had asked for some packing advice in a thread, and then discussed the fact that this was my first trip since the death of my husband last spring. People were so encouraging and lovely, that it really gave me a good feeling about the trip. There were a few weepy moments, but for the most part, it was great fun, especially the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. I am going to post a separate trip report for those who are interested, but just wanted to thank everybody who wrote to me.

I'm happy you had a great trip and will have longlasting memories.

Can't wait to see your report after you've rested a bit!
