Thanks for the steer to Travelocity's Dream Maps
I scored two BA seats to London in September for $533.
And mirabile dictu, they have on-line seat selection. I got there too late to snap up anything really cool, but we got two on the aisle with nothing behind us.
Any comments on this facility? Do they come through with your selections, or is the whole thing a sham?

I remember a couple of our neighbors who went through Travelocity to score 2 cheap tix from SFO to LHR, complete with seat selection, only to find out during check-in that their selected seats will not be honored in a full flight and that they were told that they would have to take the only available seats for them - which were middle-seats in separate, but consecutive rows.
It seems that they sure did show their concern for those that buy the cheap fares and that is, none whatsoever.
