I can't remember your name , but your love of this hotel made me book it and was I ever glad. Pretty, spotless, huge room (#38),marvelous staff. It's my new home in Paree .

Interesting note: #38 is wheelchair accessible for any of you who might need assistance.

The Hotel is NOT air-conditioned. Too bad...

The original "Charade" was filmed there. Photos of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn on the walls heading down to the Lautred breakfast room. The player piano is a great touch, too.

It may have been me--was it? I've certainly posted about it before. And am going back this May. :-)

we were there last May in the room directly behind the hotel desk. Absoluetly loved it there. Ah, yes, but only downfall is no AC. We didn't need it in early May though. Great location and the Metro close by. Will also go back again.

I just checked my records and it was also room 38 that we were in. Yes, it is big and the bathroom was also very large.

Is the room you stayed in pictured on the website? If so, please tell the predominant color so I can locate it. Also, are there other room numbers which you may have noticed were as spacious as #38? I am wondering if a room behind reception might be noisy.

Marianna--room #38 is the largest room. It's in a small hallway with a an outside door, almost a separate wing. You will not hear any noise from reception and even though the room faces the street it was quiet at night.

It's a yellow and blue room.
