Have been shopping for Rome airfare for several months and just this morning I found airfare Pittsburgh to Rome via JFK for $414.00 pp. We are all set for a wonderful trip Sept 9 to 20th. I'm sure I will need travelling advice. So thanks in advance...

Wow! What a deal....you are so lucky. I just went on Delta and unfortunately I must have missed it! I keep looking and looking and can't seem to find anything under $803.00.

I am beginning to get anxious since I am planning my trip for the last week in April.
I will just have to keep looking.

Well, who knows, maybe her flight will be a good one.

that sale is over. The fares for Rome, and actually several other cities, apparently started yesterday and ended today sometime around 4:00 or so. I did not jump fast enough (was looking at Prague destination), but assume other airlines will also start sales for summer months soon.

Well, I submit that she will still thank them after the flight, no matter what it is like. They're saving her hundreds and hundreds of dollars, compared to other airlines, getting her there and getting her back, and taking her mind off of worrying about her air fare for this trip. The point of the flight, after all, is just a means to an end. I have never traveled ANYwhere so that I could have a good flight experience.
