Leaving for Paris early tomorrow morning for two long anticipated wonderful weeks in an apartment in the 10th. I want to thank all of you who have give unstintingly of your life experiences to make this an unforgettable journey. I enjoyed the planning of it with you all almost as much as I will the actual trip.

I will think of you often as I drag this creaking carcasse about the city I love, and try to pay it forward with a trip report when I return.

Bonne route, nukesafe! I have no idea if I contributed to any of your threads or not, but more power to you for yet another trip to France! Drag yourself to the utmost!

Please, take the time to let the carcass uncreak a bit: just sit and people-watch at least twice a day!

Bon Voyage!! And should you be too creaky, just purchase some Voltaren gel from the pharmacist. Works wonders for knees, etc.

Yes Voltarin Gel works good for creaky knees. Bought some last time we were in Paris.
This time pulled hamstring....not sure if it will work for that.
Always something with old knees.

The umbrella is now sure to be getting plenty of use. And temperatures are down to 10°C. The café terraces and the buses have the heat on.
