Thames River Boats

Are there facilities on the river boats? I am thinking of taking a boat from the Hampton Court Palace pier to Westminster but it takes about 3 hours, and wonder if there are refreshments sold on the boats and of course, bathrooms.
Thanks in advance for the information.

If the journey feels a bit tedious, you could always get off at Richmond or Putney and take a train into Waterloo from there (or the underground to Westminster), but that's a lot slower).

Thanks to both of you. Taking the boat just part of the way has been recommended and my thought was to go ahead and get a ticket as though we are going the entire way but to know that if we get tired of it, we can get off. In my research mania, I even noticed that we will be on the boat right around dusk/sunset and that seems like such a nice time to be on the river.

Did take the boat on Sunday and it was the last day of the season it was going. The refreshments and facilities were very nice and it was just the perfect relaxing break after the first days of our trip running around. The scenery was beautiful and I recommend this way of returning from Hampton Court Palace to London to anyone who needs 2 - 3 hours of relaxation after seeing the sites. (And it is on the 2 for 1 list.) Anyone planning for next summer, this is very enjoyable.
