Hi Christina, in french (in most supermarkets for ex) premiers prix are usually the lowest prices you can find. maybe sncf meant "unique low cost".
At school we used to say "je suis prems!" (I'm the first one!)so it is also a bit confusing for us ;-)

Hi Cristina,

Didnt see that press release. I always just thought it meant first ones get best price I am sure the meaning hasnt changed from the press release. Thanks for the info!

That is very interesting, coco. If that is a common sign in French supermarkets for the lowest prices you can find, I'm sure that is what they are copying.
