TGV station at CDG
I will be arriving at CDG airport on Continental airlines. Is the TGV station within walking distance from the Continental arrival area or most we use a airport bus?

HI

I flew in on Air canada, and it was within that same terminal. very easy to find.

I cannot speak to Continental, but it would make sense that international flights would be in the same terminal.

hope that helps...

Stan, the Continental Airlines counter is in terminal 2C at CDG. I would assume that means that flights from the US would arrive at those gates. You might want to call the airline to be sure. If so, you will be very near the TGV station. You can see a map of CDG here: http://www.adp.fr/webadp/a_cont01.nsf/0/C1BEBAF665E2489BC1256A7100455545/$File/P_TousCb[1].gif?OpenElement

I wish you a "bon voyage"!

Does anyone know if the RER operates on Christmas?
|
Last year I flew American and went to the CDG station by shuttle. I went outside the terminal and looked around until I saw what looked like a bus stop--had to wait there about 10 minutes. I just asked the driver to let me know the stop. It looked a little bewildering at first, but I went over to the outdoor elevator and it whisked me down to a beautiful new station.

Public transportation operates every day, including holidays. There are reduced schedules, however, and often ticket windows will not be manned in the stations--you either must have your tickets or pass already or use the machines (I'd be sure to have one).
