TGV Paris question
 

I am trying to reserve 3 roundtrip TGV tickets Paris to Reims for October. There aren't any PremRates left, so I'm forced to buy the Leisure Rate tickets (total for 3 is 126 euros). There is not an option to print tickets at home. Does the option for picking up the tickets at an "SNCF boutique" mean I can simply arrive at Gare Est the day of my trip and retrive them from a ticket counter?

I'm no expert but we have booked TGV tickets and picked them up in France at the train station. There were ticket machines where you had to key in the code you are given on booking, you also need the credit card that was used to make the booking.

Another time we had trouble retrieving the tickets from a machine (not sure if it was us or not) so we went to the ticket counter, handed over the printout of our booking and they printed out our tickets for us.

Yes, you have the option of picking them up at any train station in France or any SNCF boutique, which is a separate SNCF store located in many French cities.

If you are from North America, your credit card will NOT work in a station ticket machine since it doesn't have an embedded chip. Go to either a station window or a SNCF boutique. Bring your confirmation number and the credit card you used when booking.

Thank you for the quick replies! Yes, I've read about the US credit cards not working in the machines. That's why I figured I'd go directly to the station counter the morning of my trip. I just wasn't sure which option to select on the French website because my French is poor & the English version won't come up on my computer. My tickets are sitting in the purchase cart. I don't want to select any wrong options!

I used a SNCF boutique last trip, and I liked not having to worry about getting to gare early enough(?) to stand in possible long line. I was staying in the 6th, and the boutique on rue de Rennes was very convenient.
