Where to stay on Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini?
We will be visiting Rhodes and Mykonos and perhaps Santorini. Must stay under 200 euro per day incl. breakfast and taxes. Would prefer something nice with a view and preferrably beach access for 150 euros or less.
Many thanks!

Personally, in Mykonos I would stay in the main town and day-trip to the beaches (though there is a tiny beach on the waterfront). Its nice to be able to wander around town at night, doing a bit of window/people watching. I stayed in Hotel Phillipie right in the pedestrianized heart of town, 5 min from waterfront. Thought it was a great deal. No view as such...

On Rhodes I suggest the Cava d'Oro. It is in Old Rhodes town and I beleive it may be tthe only small hotel within the castle walls. You can get to the port easily, but it is a get experioeince to stay within the city wall. Also we were4 in Greece last month and I arranged with all our small family run hotel to pay cash for a discount rate. If that works for you it never hurts to ask.

For Mykonos i agree with murphy89 that it's nice to stay in the town. Although you can find very nice hotels near the beach (and mykonos has lovely beaches)
for 150€.
In Santorini we've just stayed in 'alta mare' in Oia for 130€ in high season (august) with breakfast. The view was..amazing!!!

On Mykonos, we stayed at Petrasos Beach Hotel at suggestion of fellow Fodorite a real gem! Enjoyed views of the bay and pool from our balcony, with just a 2-minute walk down the hill to small, quiet beach at Platy Giorgos.
Prices were very reasonable, staff was extremely friendly, b'fast buffet overlooking the bay/Aegean Sea was amazing - and bus from hotel to town was very cheap and only a 15-20 min. ride.
Mykonos town is lovely, but I was glad that we stayed elsewhere with easy transport into town.
