Does the TGV train go directly from the CDG airport to Avignon?

just google "TGV from CDG to Avignon" and you will get an answer.

Its been about 10 years but the answer then was YES. Direct in about 3 hours. Avignon station is about 1 mile from the main town area. Just double checked. Yes. 3 hours plus.

Hi! It does but it does not put you in Old Town or the heart of Avignon. You will need to transfer to a local train or uber or bus into Old Town. I'm not sure how to do that part but I am sure it is very easy. Tons of people on this forum do it; someone more knowledgeable will answer. :)

I think the shuttle bus, which ran to the old central train station, has been replaced with a rail shuttle of some sort. Same results, I expect, in about five minutes.

The shuttle train from Avignon-TGV to the Avignon-Centre station is waiting for the TGV every time.
