ici, feline nature is even MORE predictable. Putting a bag or box on the floor results in one cat in, one out, and the game's afoot (apaw?) within 60 seconds. Opening any closet, drawer, or cabinet that is normally closed brings both cats to my side no matter where they are or what they are doing.

THAT IS A PURR_FECT example of all of us.

If a house has one hundred closet doors that all sound the same to us, how can the cat tell which one hides the kibble and which one hides the evacuum cleaner?
