Termini to Piazza Navona

We will be taking the train from the airport to the train station. We are staying near Piazza Navona. I'm having trouble guaging the distance. Should we walk or take a taxi. I embarrassed myself in the south of France by mistaking the distance to my hotel and took a taxi all of about 8 blocks. I tipped heavily to redeem myself. I don't want to do that again.

Termini to Piazza Navona warrants a taxi, without a doubt.

Think how embarrassed I was when I took a taxi in Aix -- two blocks from the train station to the hotel!

I've stayed at the Crown Plaza which is east of the Piazza Navona and took the underground to the Termini just to explore. I think it's way too far to walk with your suitcase. If you arrive during rush hour, taxi may actually be slower but you probably have to fight the crowd in the metro.

Yes, take a taxi, even if you're a great walker you'll have all your luggage, etc.

And Eloise, your experience makes me laugh so hard; I took a taxi in Aix (my first time there) in January from the bus stop to my hotel. I think it was 2 1/2 blocks, so you have me beat!

Thanks everyone. I'm still laughing and have decided that 8 blocks wasn't so embarrassing after all.
