TER from Avignon TGV?
I'm going by train from Paris to Avignon and then on to l'isle-sur-la Sorgue. I was certain that I would have to transfer from Avignon TGV to Avignon Centre to get the TER to ISLS. However, the timetable shows one train in the afternoon that does not seem to require a change of stations. Is it true that an occasional TER leaves from Avignon TGV? I thought the TGV station was strictly TGV. Anyone know anything about this? Thank you!

I thought the TGV station was strictly TGV.
I am not aware of any such rule. The SNCF sets up schedules to maximize passenger traffic. There are TGVs going into Avignon Centre and trains other than TGVs serve Avignon TGV. |
Some TGV statoins are only TGV's - like Le Creusot - close to Avignon, in the middle of nowhere.
I'll check and revert, mère-grand. |
There are occasional TER trains from AVignon TGV to that location. They do stop in Avignon Centre, however, but you don't have to transfer.
