temps in Copenhagen in June

Does anyone know what kind of temps (F) I might find near the beginning of June in Copenhagen? We are only staying one night, but was wondering if we'd need an air-conditioned hotel.

Hi T,

See www.weather.com for average temps.

The 4 times I have went to Copenhagen it was "unseasonably hot".

Thanks...yes it says around the 50's-60's. So pretty cool. I did research the climate for the area, but I know some people said it was quite warm when they were there (you were probably one)...

Hi tms,

One year, I went to Helsinki, where "unseasonably hot" meant a week of temps in the 30's C. The Finns were putting ice in their drinks.

After a week of that, I went to Copenhagen. The weather followed me.

A week later I was in London, where a new front brought "unseasonably hot" weather.

From June 1 to June 21 it was hot, humid and no AC, not even ceiling fans.

You can't rely on averages. :)

Gosh, we were there the 3rd week of June and again the first week of July, although it was warm walking around the streets of Stroget, it was not unbearable hot. In fact, the nights were cool and comfortable. Our room had no air conditioning, not even a fan but we did have two windows. We were fine without air conditioning.

Have been 3 times and it was usually in the high 60's/low 70's during the day. But with global warming europe has been getting all these awful heat waves - so no guarantee.

I have a habit of checking the daily temperatures of cities I have been to..don't know why...but anyway, last year it seemed not to get any hotter that the low 70's daytime in Copenhagen. Have a sweater for evenging perhaps, but you really should be quite comfortable, and I doubt air conditioning would be needed.

If it turns out to be 110 don't yell at me..I'm NOT the weatherman!!! LOL
