Temperatures - Scotland
 

Hi, Husband and I will be driving Scotland (Highlands) between September 21st to 25th.<BR>How will be the temperature like? Around what? Raining.. Sunny... <BR>Thanks,<BR>Patricia

I'm going there next week. At the moment the 5 day forecast is for late 50s/low 60s.<BR>It can be very variable, but I will be taking warmish trousers, blouses and a waterproof jacket. As to rain or sun, that's very much in the lap of the gods. It's pretty sure to rain at some point but you can never tell.

Warm, cool, cold, rainy, windy, sunny - could be any or all of the above! Dress in layers. You will not need a heavy coat but something warm and waterproof is a good idea.

As janis said, it can be any kind of weather (apart from snow!) then. You can even get rain, sun, wind and cold in one day!!

why apart from snow?

yes snow is unlikely but then so is blazing sunshine.<BR><BR>Pat expect rain at some point.

Patricia,<BR>Likely to be cold in the evenings with the possibility of ground frost early in the mornings, burning off by 09.30 into warmish autumn weather, possibly with blue skies and sunshine.
