Tea in Manchester uk

We are in Wilmslow UK and would like to have an English Tea - shall we go to Adlington Hall which may not be easy to do, or go to Manchester where we can tour the town and have tea, but where?

Many thanks.

I guess what you are looking for is Afternoon Tea (its important to get the terminology right). The big city centre hotels in Manchester, and some department stores, will offer this. No specific RECs from me, but check out www.afternoontea.co.UK/uk/north-west/Manchester

Manchester Town Hall is stunning architecturally, and you can get a traditional afternoon tea in the cafe there for £11.

Google for an illustration and menu.

This is a cute hotel in Manchesterr and does a lovely afternoon tea ( it is near to the studios where Coronation street is filmed)
