Taxi service in Seville

Can anyone give me an idea of what I should pay from the airport to downtown and also from downtown to the river port? Thank you.

We were told 18-20 euros from the airport. But we ended up taking a train to Sevilla instead, so I can't verify that from personal experience.

Watch out for rip-offs. We unwittingly got into a taxi at the airport that didn't have the meter operating and were hit with a 35Euro charge into town (the driver even expected to keep the change when I handed over two 20E notes!). I believe it shouyld be more like half that amount.

Here are the official taxi fare rates for 2009 - runs to/from the airport have a flat rate of 20.70 euros on weekdays, and possibly a little more now that we are in 2010. I always paid this flat rate for San Pablo airport in Sevilla.

The meter rates are also indicated, as well as the conditions which carry surcharges. BTW, I have never experienced problems with taxis in Sevilla to date.

I was thinking I paid a flat rate from the airport, so I can confirm that. I know it wasn't that high, so 20-25 euro sounds about right.
