Taxi prices in Barcelona
 

Does anyone have an idea of the taxi price from the airport in Barcelona to the Placa de Catalunya area? We have a quote of 55 euros for a private taxi, but that seemed high.

If I remember correctly, it was around 30E. It was no problem getting a taxi from the airport.

30E sound about right , there is a supplement for the airport pick up ( something like 3.10 )and 1 euro for each bag.

I just did this three weeks ago and it was 30E.

If you are going to that location you can also take the aerobus for 5 euro each, I think 8.50 round trip.

I just returned from Barcelona on Sunday. The taxi ride from the airport was just about 30E and took about 20 minutes.

I wouldn't worry about reserving a private taxi - there was no problem getting one at the airport.

How many in your party, we were 5 and at the airport, were required to get 2 taxis. We learned, for our return trip to the airport, that the hotel was able to arrange a mini van for us for much less $ than 2 taxis.
