Taxi from Treviso airport to Venice?
 

Hi,

Does anyone know whether there is a taxi rank at Treviso airport and if so the approximate cost of a taxi to Venice?

I know there are buses doing the transfer, but the thought of beginning the holiday with 70 minutes on a hot crowded bus in July doesn't appeal.

There is a shuttle at the airport that brings you to the water taxis and public boats;
the public boat is cheaper but makes many stops so is slower, the private water taxi is approx. 90 euros....

You will be on water to get there so even in hot july, you'll get a breeze en route....

The previous response is about Venezia airport. The question was about Treviso airport which cannot be reached by boat.

There are trains from Treviso Centrale to Venice SL - 1/2 hr.

He meant a shuttle to Piazzale Roma where you get the water transport.

He's in the wrong town.
