Taxi from London to Cambridge

Hi,
My family and I want to book a taxi from London to Cambridge. Panther taxi seems to be the first choice. But they don't have online booking and require my credit card details with 3 digital code for prepayment.
Does anyone know taxi company who has online booking?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks.

I'm thinking that would cost a fortune. Why not go by train or bus? Look at www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.nationalexpress.com for fares and timetables. You don't have to prebook but it may save you money if you do. I know the bus station is right in the centre of Cambridge, not sure about the train station.

Hi Siri, I've used Panther without a problem... that method of payment is quite normal in the UK and quite safe, so you should not worry.

Kay is right, it is expensive unless there's a few of you when it works out cheaper per head, and its more convenient if you have lots of luggage. The train station is just outside the centre of Cambridge, so you'd need a cab on arrival
