Taxi from Copenhagen Marriott to Cruise Port?

How much should two of us with one piece of luggage each, expect to pay for a taxi from the Copenhagen Marriott on Kalvebod Brygge to the Cruise pier for the Norwegian Sun? If the taxi proves to be super-expensive, is there a bus or other public (or hotel) transportation that will get us easily from the Marriott to the cruise pier? Thanks for all advice.

There are 2 piers, Freeport is the new cruise, and the old one, forgot its name. Which one is yours?

There is bus 26, it runs to the old port every day, and only Mon-Fri to Freeport. Check if you can use this bus.

I really don't know at which pier the NCL Sun docks. Can other Fodorites please advise?

You can find out which pier the NCL cruise ship will be using by calling the cruise line

Thank you, Dayenu and Dukey1, for your replies. I will call for the pier information.
I am hoping that previous travelers can please advise the approximate cost for a taxi for that distance. DH is 75 with some back problems and I have a knee that's not great, so a taxi will truly be a better option for us.

The Norwegian Sun should be docked at the Freeport Pier, according to NCL. Would a taxi from the Marriott to the Freeport Pier cost more than the equivalent of $25. U.S. one way? Thanks for all advice.

From Google Maps it seems the distance is around 7 km.

Taxi fares in Copenhagen are the cheapest Monday to Fridays between 7AM and 4PM. If you travel during the cheapest time and flag down the taxi on the street, the charge should be around USD 24. If you travel during the most expensive time, e.g. after 11PM on a Friday and before 7AM on a Saturday, and order the taxi over phone expect to pay around USD 33.

Meggies,

Have you looked up your cruise on Cruise Critic? Go to the Roll Calls and look for NCL and your ship date. You may find someone else staying at the same hotel who is willing to share a taxi. They also have a lot of cruise specific details that might interest you. Also, I thought NCL offered a voucher from that hotel directly to the ship. It seems expensive, but the convenience may be worth it.

We're going on the NCL Baltic cruise soon too so we've touched base with fellow guests on the same cruise.

Enjoy.
