Taxi Fare from Charles de Gaulle Airport

Could you tell me what the fare for a taxi going from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to the Arc de Triomphe for two people would be?

Depending on traffic, it should be in the vicinity of 250 F (there are extra charges for each piece of baggage, and if riding by night, on Sundays, etc. )

An even better value is to take the Metro. For the price of the taxi, you can buy the Paris Visite Pass which gives you unlimited use of the subway and bus system for a prescribed number of days. Their subway system is marvelous and very easy to navigate. You can buy the pass right at the metro station in the airport. Have a good trip.
Two can ride the Air France bus from CDG to the Arc de Triomphe for less than half the taxi fare. And 250 FF is on the conservative side for a taxi.
Unless there is a terrible traffic tieup or you are going during rush hour or middle of the day, 250FF is a realistic fare. I have never paid more than about 200-225FF from CDG to the Montparnasse area, which is further. I have always traveled on Sat or Sun when there was little traffic and no nighttime fare surplus. (BTW, fare is no different for
two people versus one person).
We found an airporter service on the
internet. Address: [email protected]
You make an advance reservation and call as soon as you arrive and as soon as you pick up your bags they
are waiting believe it was about thirty
dollars for the two of us, small tip. Took us right to the hotel beside the Louvre. Took it back to the airprt as
well. Would recommend service, especially if taxi's are on strike.
