Taxi company in Almancil/Quinta Do Lago Area
 

Hi there,
I have been lucky enough to be offered accommodation for free for five days in the Fourseasons Fairways resort in Quinta Do Lago area of the Algarve. As we as are used to driving on the "other side" we are not comfortable hiring a car and really intend to flop and drop mainly during the day but in the evening we would like to sample the restaurants in the area.
I have been to this area before and it is very spread out and appears to be attract a fairly well heeled crowd so organizing taxis through the reception of the resort can often mean getting fleeced as the resort take a percentage. So my question is this- does anyone know a reasonable taxi company that we could phone as we need transportation in the evening. Thanks for your help!!!!!

I didn't get any answers to this but I did find an interesting site where I booked my airport transfer at a very reasonable rate of €12.80. My travelling companion and I are arriving on different days so instead of paying about €30 each in a 2 private taxis we have booked our transfers for 12.80 each which works out a lot cheaper!!
