Taxi charges from CDG
 

I've read on some posts it will be approximately €40 from CDG to our hotel - Grand Leveque in the 7th.

My question is this, there will be two of us (friend and myself), so will it cost more for two people?

no, taxi fares are not per person, but for the ride. I wouldn't be surprised if it cost a little more than that, though.

You can expect to pay 40 to 50 euros, depending on the traffic. You can look into taking the Air France bus, which is 9 €/person/one-way. The bus stops at Montparnasse and Invalides and you can take the metro or a taxi from there.

Having done this, I can tell you it will probably not be 40E to the 7th but more like 50E. I would recommend it though if your budget allows as it is (IMO) the fastest and easiest way to get into Paris after a long flight.

we paid close to 60 euros to the 5th/6th.
a weekday around 11.30 a.m. ( 4 people and a few bags)
