Tavira to Morrocco-Help

What is the quickest from Tavira to Algecerias- via Seville or Arcos anyone know? We are hoping to go from Tavira to Tangier and then get train to FES and spend 2 nites in FES.On the way back we plan on going Fes to Tangier and then ferry back to Spain and drive up to Seville for 2 nites. Is this too much to accomplish in this time frame. I sure hope someone can help. Thanks a lot.

When you don't get answers to a question like this, it is worthwhile to "top" it - - and best if you can add anything new, like info you have uncovered on yoiur own, since you first posted the question.

Best wishes,

Rex

I think he reposted because someone told him to change his subject line. Again - I wouldn't waste my time in going to Tangier.

Donnabee,
We were thinking about the daytrip to Tangier from Tarifa, why wouldnt you recommend it?

I wouldn't recommend a daytrip to Tangier, either, because it's a fairly long way to go to visit what is arguably the dumpiest place in Morocco, and it might really turn you off from visiting the rest of that country, which is marvelous.

I wouldn't recommend it because it's dirty and they didn't make us feel very safe. As soon as we got off the ferry, we had hords of tour guides around us. We finally went with one, the only good thing was, we had an airconditioned mercedes bus all for ourselves. They took us to a restaurant where the food tasted like it was leftovers from the lunch crowd (plus we had ants in the food). Then when we went to walk in the town, we had to have a tour guide in the front and one in the back to protect our children. The town was dirty and very poor. Then the rest of our tour was trying to get us to buy carpets. We just couldn't wait to get out of there. The other funny part of our trip was - I wanted a camel ride. The tour guide said - no problem. He takes to an area off the road, puts us on a camel (that looked abused), walked us in a circle, and then told us to get off. That was my camel ride! Never again....
