Tavira rollerblading

Off to Tavira for a week. Does the town have an esplenade or promenade where we can roller blade?

So, has no one been to Tavira?

I was in Tavira last May. They have a beautiful square, a castle with some spread out grounds, and a waterfront street with cobblestones and scattered steps. The tourism office is also sort of on a hilly area; other than the square area, nothing that I saw was conducive to much roller blading, really.... Nice people and very pretty girls, so you should be all set, though :-D

Thanks, well that's one less thing to carry I guess

There is an esplanade of sorts by the river but probably too many people about for rollerblading. Ferry to the sandspit is about a mile out of town along the river- no rollerblading there, just cafes and campsites. The sheltered (northern) side was popular with nude bathers last time I was there.
