Anyone going on this tour tomorrow (July 9th)?? I have never done one of their tours - anything special I should know??

Thanks

I think you need to make your query a little more specific. Anything special you should know about what - Spain, company, bus, hotels, meals, activities, fellow travelers?

Have you ever done a tour before? Been to europe before?

Give us a clue!

Is it hard to sleep on the plane, do most people take a nap when you get there before you meet your group for dinner, will only summer clothes be needed, anyone that went on this particular tour (A Week in Spain) like it????

For Spain, just summer clothes. Even here in Castellón that there's no sun today..it's not cold :)

Try not to get a nap when you arrive, get dinner and if you wish go to bed early but try to do it at the same hour you do it at home, that way the next you should be ok with jet lag :)

Yes - summer clothes for Spain in July.

Some people can sleep on planes and some people can't. It's a very individual thing. Some people take a sleep medication for the flight.

Some people like to take a short nap upon arrival, others think it is better to stay awake and try to get immediately on local time.

Take a couple pair of very comfortable walking shoes (so you can alternate what you wear on your feet). Take only one comfortable jacket or sweater that you wear on the plane. The rest summer clothes counting on hot weather, that you could layer if it is cooler than you expect. I'm assuming the tour gave you guidelines for number of pieces and size of luggage allowable?

Also assuming you have a valid passport & your finances in order? That you have euro or an ATM card to get euro after you arrive? And a charge card or US cash as a back up?

I have taken some Tauck tours in the US some years ago, and they were great. I'm sure the European tours will be just as good. The tour guide will give you ALOT of information. I'm sure you'll have a great time!
