Tauck or Perillo

My husband & I are planning on a trip to Italy [he wants to add a couple of days to see where his grandparents came from]. I'm leaning towards a really nice escorted tour - was thinking either Tauck or Perillo. Any suggestions? We want to see Venice, Rome, Pompeii. Probably a minimum of 10 days.

Cindy - my mother and I have been on two Tauck Tours (we are 34 & 64). I was hesitant to go on a "tour", however, I am now sold on them! Tauck is wonderful! First class all the way.

I have been booking Tauck tours very successfully since 1988 (when they only did the US). I can't say enough gr8 things about this deluxe tour company. It is the best company for so many reasons...quality, value, trust etc...incidently, I have a couple departing for Classic Italy on Sept 28-on an itinerary I particularly have interest.

Tauck Tours are top of the line and IMHO Perillo Tours are junk.

lynlor

I have been taking Tauck tours in the U.S. for many years. They are first class all the way. I usually travel to Europe on my own, but will certainly use Tauck if I decide to do a European tour.

Hi Cindy,
I just returned from a Tauck tour of Italy. I cannot begin to say enough about them. We flew into Milan, did the lakes region, onto Venice, Florence, and Rome. Many of the people we were on the tour with extended their vacation. Email me if you would like further info.
