Tauck Bridges
 

Hello all. I'm new on the Europe board and have questions about escorted tours. Yes, I did search under that topic but found nothing related to my specific question:
Has anyone been on a Tauck Bridges tour? They are INCREDIBLY expensive but, perhaps, for that "trip of a lifetime" before the teenagers leave home?

Don't know from personal experience but Tauch tours is from my home town. They are supposed to be the BEST!

My folks are heading to Prague, Krakow, Warsaw, Vienna and Budapest on one at Tauch tour in June. It's a retirement/65th BDay trip for my Mom and they are very excited.

The hotels are all 5-star and the meals are at any of the hotel restaurants rather than big group dinners. I think their two week tour was in the area of $10K and they don't spend that kind of money foolishly.

They are expecting the best from the itinerary they sent me they seem to be getting it.

No personal experience but my husband's parents as well as some of our good friends have been on several Tauck tours and really won't consider others. We almost did one but decided to go on our own so we could make our own schedule. I did ask them if we could just meet them (the tour) at a destination if we went early and missed a day or so of their tour and they seemed cooperative about this. Happy travels.

For 10K, I will personally guide you on an unforgettable tour to anywhere you desire in Europe focusing on bridges, walls, sidewalks, turrets, roofs, or whatever strikes your fancy, put you up in the best hotels, and lead you to some of the best restaurants in the world as well.

Ummm, I don't think Tauck Bridges tours focus on bridges. They're Tauck tours specifically for families.

Even if I were to take a tour, Tauck would be waaaay out of my price range. But I do know that the mother of a friend of mine, who loves to travel and to eat well, and who is pretty well off financially, has had good experiences with Tauck.

I've never been on a Tauck Bridges tour, but I have taken a Tauck tour and it was wonderful. The tours are expensive, but the hotels and food (especially the freedom of choice dining program) are excellent.
