Has anyone stayed or eaten at Le Cottage in Tallories? Is this owned by the same owners as auberge de pere bise? Any feedback good or bad?
Thanks!

This is an old post and there are no responses...does anyone have any feedback or knowledge about this?

Le Cottage is in Talloires, the town just a few miles from Annecy. We ate there on a trip many (like maybe 15) years ago. The place was (is?) owned by the brother to Pere Bise. A lovely traditional dining room but nothing as special as Pere Bise or as L'Abbaye, another hotel nearby constructed from a renovated abbey and commandeered by the French government as a place to stash Baby Doc Duvalier after the coup in Haiti. At one time I think all three were members of Relais and Chateaux but I would consider Le Cottage as the least among them. Haing said all that, in this company that's not a terrible thing. It's a nice place, just a bit pale by comparison.

We stayed at the Cottage and loved it,our room only a few feet away from the lake and you can walk to Pere Bise
for dinner or drinks. But if you can afford to have an expensive dinner, or lunch, don't miss the Auberge de Eridan.
