rjw_lgb_ca Jul 21st, 2003 09:25 AM

Can I rent a car with automatic when I get there, or is it still stuck in last century? And will my big-city dress and demeanor put off the locals as I try to talk with them about varied and interesting topics while they are eating?

suzanne Jul 21st, 2003 09:26 AM

Should I bring my own snorkel gear?

Mischka Jul 21st, 2003 09:30 AM

Are the locals very stupid in the Twilight Zone? Will I be able to hire an AUTOMATIC or will I be forced to drive a manual? Please answer SOON.... I feel myself going into PANIC MODE! HELP...............

Mischka Jul 21st, 2003 09:42 AM

#60. Any more talents on this website?

richardab Jul 21st, 2003 12:10 PM

Flip flops or Slippers, which is more accepted?

Travelsmile Jul 21st, 2003 12:11 PM

O Faina, surely you jest. But is this the place where I'd like to display my talent. If I did, would I need to add a silly little face that blinks?

Intrepid Jul 21st, 2003 12:21 PM

Eagles are very talonted.

jody Jul 21st, 2003 02:39 PM

May I please have ketsup with the eagle foie gras?

richardab Jul 21st, 2003 05:53 PM

Yes, I agree the search engine is the best way to find a thread on this forum. Please use it first, before you ask your silly little questions about Paris Hotels or restaurants in London.

So what is the best sight to see in Amsterdam?

Scarlett Jul 21st, 2003 06:00 PM

I LIKE the little blinking faces!!!

;;) ;;) ;;)

Flyboy Jul 21st, 2003 06:18 PM

Talented postings

Am I allowed to drink French wine again?

Marilyn Jul 22nd, 2003 04:33 AM

Unsolved mystery: Why do the little faces STOP blinking?

degoute Jul 22nd, 2003 04:47 AM

Viva our little blinking faces, the bane of the miserable curmudgeons on this site. =D> May a real smile enter their lives one day. ;;) :D ;;)

elizabeth_reed Jul 22nd, 2003 05:43 AM

I prefer Elmer's Glue. Oops! I thought this thread was about talented PASTINGS.

judyjay Jul 22nd, 2003 06:04 AM

Which drugs are best to give a screaming child on board a night flight?

Surfer Jul 22nd, 2003 06:07 AM

Oh degoute, how cute. Like you, I love those little blinkers, but just cannot come up a smiley face associated with hangin' ten. Any ideas - it's my recreation, and I'd love a cute little face to go with it. :>

I am continually amused and entertained by the Talented Posters on these boards. The good humor and wit, not to mention the knowledge!
Do keep up the Talented Postings!

Giovanna Jul 22nd, 2003 07:02 AM

We've just returned from the Twilight Zone and what a disappointment. Since Rod Serling left it's really gone downhill. Very seedy, not quaint or trendy at all. Full of museums and art. Nothing to do. It really isn't worth it any more. Too many tourists and tacky shops. And beware the B&B Ethereal. The staff was rude, our room was tiny and they call that breakfast? No eggs, bacon, ham, waffles. Boy do they have a lot to learn.

Well so much for the TZ. We'll be going to some good old American spots next year: Vegas, Branson, Disney whatever. They don't know how to live outside the US. :S-
