Richard, I think some of the most fun things in life happen in unexpected ways. Your 'accidental' thread is a blast!

richardab Mar 12th, 2004 06:51 PM

but where is the best tapas in seville?

Clifton Mar 12th, 2004 06:54 PM

"One time I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out"

Kind of like this thread. Ask an actual, specific question and people bicker and disagree. Type a ? mark and everyone gets along for a years worth of posts...

What is a good airfare to Katmandu?

Clifton Mar 12th, 2004 07:43 PM

Trick question, I think. There ARE no good airfares to Kathmandu.

BrimhamRocks Mar 12th, 2004 07:48 PM

That's not what I heard, Clifton. My aunt said she got a three-cat discount on her ticket. I think the more cats you have, the better the discount. :))

Does anybody know if I can use Sacajawea dollar coins on the Metro?

BrimhamRocks Mar 12th, 2004 08:35 PM

Just found out my cousin is a yeti. And here all this time I just thought she had a hormone problem. Ahhhh...families.....

Clifton Mar 12th, 2004 08:36 PM

A three cat discount? I can't imagine how she got them into the envelope. I can't even get people to take travelers checks.

Clifton Mar 12th, 2004 08:41 PM

LOL. "I've dropped plenty of hints, yeti won't go home." Your troubles are all relative...

richardab Mar 13th, 2004 03:35 AM

can anyone reccommend a good hotel in europe?

popesa Mar 13th, 2004 05:09 AM

for ladies who bargain in the markets of italy: lose the scarlet nail tips...it's a dead give-away....

BrimhamRocks Mar 13th, 2004 10:29 AM

I hate it when the dead give themselves away. You'd think it would be the smell, or maybe the empty eye sockets, or possibly that weird limp they all seem to have, but nooooooo.....it's the scarlet nail tips.

:)

Is Iceland in Europe?

Budman Mar 13th, 2004 01:33 PM

It's in Ice. ((a))

Yes. ((b))

There once was a tourist from Fodors
Who had a real problem with odors
emanating from luggage
of a child of a young age
In First Class
and it wasn't just porridge

(sorry, sort of ran out of steam on that last line...)

uhoh_busted Mar 13th, 2004 02:49 PM

oh oh oh

"so she moved into steerage!"
????

cigalechanta Mar 13th, 2004 03:06 PM

Because of her cleavage?

icithecat Mar 13th, 2004 04:04 PM

I tried that three cat discount. I put them in the envelope with the ticket before leaving home.

I stopped by emergency to have them staunch the worst of the bleeding before I went to the airport.

When I turned up at the gate to present my ticket, out flew the three cats.

There was not enough of the ticket left to piece together.

I lost my ticket, my three cats and my discount.

I would recomend against trying this.
