Taking the train to Limoges or Brive
Friends were thinking of coming to the Dordogne Saturday June 7. It turns out that there are no trains stoipping in Limoges or Brive on that day, which is surprising. There is a train going to Toulouse, and I thought that these two stops were on the way. Does anyone know what is happening? Thanks.

I forgot: my friends would be coming from Paris.
|
Not sure where you are looking, but I checked the SNCF site http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ and found 6 trains coming from Paris to Brive, leaving from about 6.30 to 13.56
|
I see lots of trains to both stations on June 7 on the SNCF website. Where are you looking?
|
I was looking at SNCF.com, trying to book a train, was told that no trains existed for that day. Our friends are coming from England, and they had the same problem. It's now academic. They are coming two days earlier.

In fact, on that site it says (in French) that they can't sell the tickets on that site, not that there are no trains.
But there will still be trains! On both days. |
Aucun train ne circule au-delà de l'horaire du trajet aller que vous avez indiqué. Veuillez modifier l'heure de votre trajet aller pour afficher plus de propositions.
That's not how I read this statement which pops up. |
I'm getting trains to Limoges shown for 7 June, so try again.
They may not have loaded the data for that date until recently. Booking normally opens 90 days ahead, but his isn't always exact. |
