People who take their dogs on vacation to europe with them are very lucky indeed.

I wish I could, but I have 8 beautiful Cocker spaniels they were all once show dogs and are now champions and more importantly they are now kings and queens of this castle.

Last year I almost took my baby Oliver with me but then I didn't think that fair to the others so I told them to vote on who should go and give me their answer in one week. They did not reply so I told them that no one could go and they seemed to think that OK.

My brother stays with my dogs while I am away. He loves them, feeds them, plays with them a lot but he does not groom them however, he will, for the price of his gas run them to the groomer weekly for their baths.

He also brings in the mail that he tosses on the dinning room table.

But the best part of it all I get to feed him tons of food while I am away and I have the joy of cleaning up the house he totally trashes while I am away. The disgusting dirty dishes from day one are a particulairly fun treat to come home to.

Oh well, the dogs are happy....they don't know any better....they just know he loves them...

Eight cockers! Lucky you! American or English? We take ours (English) everywhere; right now she is sulking at the bottom of the stairs wondering when I will get off this computer and take her for her afternoon walk through the fields and paths near home.

Our cocker is extremely well traveled and her passport is filling up quickly. Our next trip with her will be to the Black Forest in August/September.

We like her to get her groomed the week before trips so she looks just right. Unfortunately, she needs a lot more grooming than she used to--last year, she came down with a whopping case of pyometra, had to have an emergency spay, and as we feared, her lovely hard coat is becoming much more wavy and fuzzy. Dang. And we won't talk about her figure--inside every cocker is a FAT dog just itching to come out and now that she's spayed, well...French, Belgian and German waiters who like to feed her bits of brie and pate aren't helping to keep her inner piglet at bay.

My babies are American Cocker Spaniels

Jamie..Black
Watson...Black
Betsy...Black
Rickey...Black
Price....Black and Tan
Natasha...Black and Tan
Samson....Buff
Oliver....Black and Tan

Samson and Oliver are brothers from same litter as is Price and Natasha are brother and sisters from my first litter.

Right now I also have 4 puppies 5 weeks old.....so darn cute...all will go to show homes hopefully...if they turn out to be show quality. Very good breeding behind all my dogs.

All of my dogs...especially Betsy Boo, are very jealous of your dog..they are now complaining because they don't get brie and pate....see what you started.
