taking methadone into portugal
 

Hey guys im going to portugal for 10days in july, the thing is im on a methadone script and im worried bout it, whether iv got to declare it and if so at customs in the uk and when I get to portugal, what documentation I have to take with me for it, and so on, I would really appreciate it for the help as iv not got a clue plus im realy looking forward to a holiday the last thing I want is to get into trouble at the airport and not be able to go...thanks again x

This is not something to fool around with. Contact the nearest Portuguese embassy or consulate and determine exactly what paperwork you will need to do this legally.

I agree with the above advice - telling as many people as you can before the event (including your own customs and immigration) is probably the way to go. Get everything in writing - print out copies of relevant emails to take with you.
