T-Mobile coverage
I will be on a 2 week tour of 4 countries (Poland, Hungary, Austria and Czech Republic) this fall. I have a US mobile phone plan that includes international coverage (data and text). Has anyone had similar and found the included mobile plan was adequate? Any restrictions to be aware of?
TIA |
I have not traveled to those countries since switching to T Mobile last year. In Italy, it was fine; no surprises on the bill. I suspect the coverage where I live isn't as robust as AT&T, but I'm happy not having the insult added to injury that is AT&T's overseas coverage.

We have had TMobile for close to 20 years, and have used it constantly in all European countries without any issues. (UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Czech, Austria). All texting is FREE, with calls very reasonably priced calling back to the States. But then we also use What's App for free. We have a Senior plan for both of us for $80 per month, all inclusive, and laugh at those who insist on keeping other plans.

Similar to aliced, we have our two phones with TMobile's senior discount program and have used them all over Europe without problem, unlike when we had AT&T. Great rates ( nothing better than free!) and coverage. Not really a surprise as TMobile's parent is Deutsche Telecom.

My sister and I are both T-Mobile customers. When we went to France in 2022, I got an Orange e-SIM and she used T-Mobile's international roaming (included on her plan). She had no problem texting and emailing, but the data was only 2G, so it wouldn't have been suitable for, say, using your iPhone for navigation without having downloaded maps. So, depending on what you are hoping to do, T-Mobile's coverage might be just fine, or it could leave a little bit to be desired. At least from my experience. In 3 years, things may have advanced.

Thank you all....I should be good with my current TMobile plan!
