Szeged to Pecs by bus. How long?

I would like to travel from Szeged to Pecs around noon. Does anyone know how long the bus ride is. All I found in my guide book is that there are 7 buses daily and it does not seem feasible by train.

Any suggestions on what to do and see in Pecs?

Don't know nuthing about buses but by rail:
Lv Szeged 11:20
change stations in Budapest
arrive Pecs 17:25
www.bahn.de for other schedules and more info. bus probably more convenient.

We drove it in about 4 hours with stops. Buses would likely take a little longer.

Pecs is a very old town. Great cathedral if you're into that kind of thing. Old early christian crypts. If you like modern art, Pecs is the place for you. Very big art scene.

Nuut: Glad to see you are going to Pecs. You will find it very charming even if it is 2000 years old (it was founded by the Romans. The bus is the way to go as it will be a more direct route (you don't have to go to Budapest as you do by train.)
If you are into wine at all, take a trip down to the Villany Area, quietly, one of the finest wine areas in Europe. It is ninteen miles South of Pecs. There are a number of wineries that offer wine tasting. Have a great trip.
