Anyone know people goon the suspension bridge with kids? do they allow strollers? How long is the walk to the bridge and then across?

Pictures say it all - pretty narrow for strollers it seems - I have not been on it - but the images tell it all it seems.

That bridge looks awfully narrow for a stroller - how would other people get past you - in either direction?

I was there November 2014 and if I remember correctly, the outdoor flat surface area was minimal once you take the cable car (unless you know how to push a stroller on ice and snow). Also I remember there was a long set of stairs at one end of the cable bridge. And the bridge in reality felt narrower and shorter than what I see in the photo you linked to. Unless it's an umbrella stroller, I don't think it can fit, and there will be others on the bridge, some just standing in the side to enjoy the view (you won't be able to pass them pushing a stroller). And there are a couple steps just to get on the bridge too. I would leave the stroller in the indoor area, or fold it up and carry it across the bridge (although that means you'll have to carry it up the set of stairs on the other end of the bridge to get inside).

I was there this past summer and I crossed paths with a family pushing a stroller across the bridge. The bridge is wide enough for two people to walk side by side so you could do this with an umbrella stroller. The bridge is also a lot shorter than I expected.

However, like the above poster mentioned, you would have more problems with GETTING the stroller to the bridge than going across it! One end of the bridge is at the top of a hill of snow/ice and the other end is a long, winding staircase! It can be done but personally, my initial thought when I saw that family was that they were crazy! To each his own though...
