48 hours in london with kids and stay at premier inn

We recently took a quick stop in London with our kids and enjoyed our stay in the South bank area/ Premier Inn and some sights.
Brief trip report on my site if you need some info
hope that helps!

So glad to see a trip report about the South bank area, which is one of my very favorite area of London for sightseeing and food and just general fun. Well served by public transport too, so quite underrated for a hotel location. I also like the Premier Inns just fine. (btw, I have family in Houston, and while my youngest relative adored the flooding -- he got to be rescused and ride in a fire truck -- it was nerve-wracking for everybody else. Hope that will not be happening again, but always stay stocked up on essentials. Good lessons learned!)

Nice write up and from a special angle as well.

The fish picture looks a bit factory made, but in London .... , you need to visit us outside of London to get better deep fried fish.

I find Premier TI is perfect, I just wish more hotels were so clutter free.

Just clicked the link and had no trouble whatsoever accessing the blog, although the family has since traveled to Lisbon., and one needs to scroll down a bit to access the London.

Nice report on Lisbon -- and nice pics of the family. Boys are cute! Carmo looks like a real find.

Thanks so much for your detailed and informative post. I am taking my 13 year old granddaughter to London for 5 days in March during her school break and I am planning to use some of the information in your blog during our trip. We'll plan to use the United Club at Heathrow which sounds great, and I'll look into the Premier Inn chain, although I would want to be based near Victoria Station.
