Sorry for the long absence!
Is it a pain to buy tickets for every journey if you have the half price pass? Can they be bought online? This is our current itinerary Montreux - 2 nights Zermatt - 3 nights Wengen - 3 nights Murren - 2 nights (Or 1 with the last night in Zurich) But now that I was looking at the trains, I realized that we will not have the opportunity to take any of the "scenic" railways, though I am sure all train rides in Switzerland are scenic! So just wondering if I should switch things around and do Montreux-Interlaken (on the Golden Pass Railway) Wengen - Murren- Zermatt - Zurich. So basically do the Bernese Oberland after Montreux & Zermatt at the end. I realize that the train rides may be longer, is it worth it? (hotels are available for the alternate dates as well) Thoughts? |
Anyone care to weigh in?

Hi excited_confused,
I would do: Zermatt-Montreux-BO Have fun as you plan! s |
Thanks but we are flying into Geneva so Montreux would have to be first! It's between Zermatt or B.O next that I have to decide, currently booked for Zermatt first but wondering if I should switch it around.
