Switzerland Help
I am heading to Zermatt mid August for a friends wedding. Flying into either Geneva or Zurich, but would love to spend a few days on either side exploring another city. Need help and advice as it would be most appreciated!!

Lucerne is only about an hour from Zurich by train and has a lot to offer. Pretty city, great boat/funicular/cablecar trip to Pilatus which would take almost a full day. You can easily spend another day wandering around the town looking at the covered bridges, museums, etc.

I'm no expert but if you end up using the Geneva airport, stay in Vevey/Montreux for a few days. Absolutely stunningly gorgeous towns right on Lac Leman (about 1 hr by train outside Geneva). Personally was not all that wow'd by Geneva proper, but Morges, Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux - yeah!!!!!
